Kylie Minogue makes secret London trip for new music meeting: reports
It seems Kylie Minogue‘s 16th studio album might not be too far away, with reports the singer made a secret trip to London last week.
The 54-year-old flew back to the UK last week, after relocating back to Melbourne last year, for a meeting with record label bosses to play them her new music, according to The Sun.
“Everything is being treated as top secret,” a source is quoted telling the publication.

The insider says “most people at the label didn’t even know she was coming” but noted the feedback was positive and “they were really impressed”.
It’s expected the new album – the singer’s first since the 2020 release of Disco – will be due out early next year.

That hit album rocketed to the top of the charts, was the fastest-selling record that year for a solo artist and gave Minogue the title of first female artist to have a number-one album in five consecutive decades in the UK, cementing her place in pop history.
If the singer has been back in the UK, she hasn’t given any hint to it across her social media accounts.
The most recent post two days ago was only to announce the release of previous album Impossible Princess on vinyl for the very first time to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Prior to that, posts of performances of years gone by and a shot of the Kylie calendar on September.
So it seems fans will have to wait a little longer for an announcement from the singer.
Most recently, Minogue made a return to acting.
The former Neighbours star was seen back on TV screens for the soap’s emotional finale, which aired last month, alongside former co-star and boyfriend Jason Donovan.
The duo returned to Ramsay St to play Charlene and Scott one last time.
