Discarded library books go up for sale

Lambton County Library is holding a used book sale.

Thousands of books, audiobooks, and DVDs will be sold at the Wyoming Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 27 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. The items have been discarded from the library due to various factors including low circulation.

Adult titles will be sold for $1 and children’s titles will be priced at $0.50. Patrons can also fill a standard-sized shopping bag with items for $5.

The used book sale is cash only and money raised will go towards the library’s operating costs.

The Wyoming Fairgrounds is located at 595 Main St.
